Biography

I am a second-year PhD student in computer science at Dartmouth College, advised by Prof. Wojciech Jarosz. My research interests lie in Monte Carlo PDE solvers and physically based rendering, with the goal of pushing grid-free PDE solvers toward practical applications. I pursue this along two directions: i) improving efficiency through variance reduction and GPU acceleration, and ii) generalizing these methods to solve a broader range of PDEs and support features driven by real-world applications.

I completed my master’s degree at Dartmouth, where I had the privilege of working with Eugene d’Eon and Dr. Rohan Sawhney, and have continued these collaborations during my PhD. Previously, I worked with Dr. Li-Yi Wei on physically based rendering, focusing on efficient sampling and integration methods for area lighting.

Outside of research, I enjoy cooking and playing pool and snooker. Feel free to drop me an email if you’d like to chat.
